Since its launch in 1995, Brindleyplace in Birmingham has risen to be the region’s premier mixed use estate. In that time it has amassed over 18 separate awards.

The estate comprises of an aesthetic collection of mixed use buildings that are the city’s premier destination for leisure and business. The buildings surround three attractive public squares - Brunswick, Central and Oozells.

The estate includes The Waters Edge, The Crescent Theatre, National Sea Life Centre and a whole host of restaurants, bars and shops.

Since 2006 we have worked for, and alongside, the Brindleyplace Management Team on numerous commissions for all three disciplines within the majority of the estate.

Projects we have been involved with include:

  • Energy conservation measures
  • Specification, procurement and quality monitoring of lift maintenance
  • Full replacement of the cellar lift at The Waters Edge providing robust and reliable access to drinks stock
  • Accessibility improvements to lifts
  • Specification, procurement and maintenance quality monitoring of façade access equipment
  • Lifecycle scheduling and condition reporting
  • Specialist chiller plant replacement to Three Brindleyplace
  • Troubleshooting to help address tenant queries

This has resulted in:

  • Lower maintenance costs
  • Improved energy efficiency
  • Greater resilience and reliability in services
  • Reduced capital costs - lowering impact to service charge
