Originally, as part of the CAT A office refurbishment, the existing bespoke, suspended ceiling was removed to accommodate new LED luminaries and associated lighting control systems. Our approach was to work with a major lighting manufacturer, to use an existing light fitting from their range and incorporate a bespoke flange. This enabled the direct replacement of the existing lighting into the original ceiling, considerably reducing the cost. The improved lighting incorporated T5 tubes and high frequency control gear, reducing the quantity of fittings by 50% per leaf and providing energy savings to both tenant and landlord. |
